OUR USE OF YOUR CHILDREN’S INFORMATION
COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN UNDER THIRTEEN
When a child under the age of thirteen visits the Website, Almost Famous Clothing does not require that the child disclose more personally identifiable information (“PII”) than is reasonably necessary for him or her to participate in an activity offered on the Website. We will not condition a child's participation in any activity on the Website on the child disclosing more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in that activity.
We may collect a child’s email address in connection with a contest, sweepstakes or game for the sole purpose of communicating with the child on a one time only basis, for example contacting the contest winner. Unless we obtain the consent of the child’s parent, we will not use the information for any other purpose nor will we share it with third parties. In the event that a child enters a contest, sweepstakes or game through the Website, we will notify the child’s parent that the child has entered the contest, sweepstakes or game and provide the parent with an opportunity to request that the child’s entry be removed from contest, sweepstakes or game. If the child’s entry is removed, all PII associated with the entry will be destroyed. No prize in a contest, sweepstakes or game will be finally awarded to a winner who is a child unless we receive written consent from that child’s parent. At the conclusion of all contests, sweepstakes or games, we will destroy all of the non-winners’ PII.
We may also collect a child's PII (including name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number) if a child elects to contact us through the “Contact Us” feature of our website. We will use the child’s PII to respond to the child’s communication and immediately thereafter destroy the child’s PII. We will not disclose the child’s PII to any third party.
